Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo performed by a licensed tattoo artist using a hand tool outfitted with a configuration of micro-needles. The tool is used to create individual hair strokes that mimic a natural and realistic eyebrow. Microblading results can vary; averaging 12-24 months. At that time, additional touch-ups may be needed.

8-10 Week Touch-Up | 1 Hour | $100

After following microblading for many years, in 2016 Kelsey discovered that this beauty procedure was now available in Minnesota. Kelsey sought out and completed her apprenticeship, received her tattoo license and has been working as a microblading artist ever since. She loves seeing the confidence and the smiling face that reveals itself every time she hands the guest a mirror after their procedure and they see their beautiful new brows for the first time. One of those guests is her mother who has worked for Simonson’s Salon and Spa in Coon Rapids for nearly two decades. “As a child, I recall visiting my mother at work and being amazed to see a thriving business with powerful women running the show. So when the opportunity arose to be part of this team, I seized it.
