That’s easy – it depends. Oh, you’re looking for more? Well, every person’s hair is as unique as they are. Each of us also has different goals for our hair. Your goal may be to keep your short style while your coworker’s goal may be to grow it all out.
Goal: Maintain a specific style
To maintain that trendy or short cut, set up haircuts for every 4 to 6 weeks. Your stylist can give you a more exact recommendation based on your hair type and goal. A “biggie” tip is to not forget bang trims. The length of your bangs can make all the difference and the appointment takes only 15 minutes.
Goal: Keep hair long (past shoulders)
Maintain your current length and keep those long locks looking fresh by having a haircut every 8 to 10 weeks.
Goal: Growing hair out
If you’re trying to grow hair out, do not skip haircuts entirely! If you do, all the “bad ends” on your hair will continue up the hair strand to leave your hair looking and feeling a little rough, to say the least. If you’re growing your hair out, schedule a haircut for every 9 to 12 weeks.
